The rural water supply& Sanitation project for low income states is being implemented by DWSD, government of Jharkhand with technical and financial support government of India & World Bank. The CCDS is implementing this project in 4 districts (i.e. Khunti, Gharwa, East Singhbhum & Saraikela) district of Jharkhand. The main objectives of the project are to improve sustainability of drinking water sources, equitable distribution of water and security at household and village level, to assess communities to adopt financially sustainability and affordable RWSS delivery models and to improving institutional capacity at MODWS to facilities and scale-up community-driven, decentralized RWSS service delivery.
Education based training to teaching staffs: CCDS has developed strong networking with the government and other line departmens. With the kind support of Department of Social Welfare the organisation is imparting residential training to Aganwadi workers, ICDS staff in Lohardaga since 2008 on the following aspects.

- Reproductive child health care
- Adolescent health
- Job specific managerial skills
- Community mobilization and development process.
The training programme are divided into refresher course, job course and orientation course.
